I am an offshore Professional with a vast experience as Marine Warranty Surveyor and former Submarine cable Jointer / Tester in all stages of an offshore wind farm installation. Mechanically minded and solution driven with a proactive approach towards safety. I understand company values and am always willing to learn and overcome new challenges.

Client Representative

■Monitoring, escalation and (where required) reporting, of all Environmental, Health and Safety incidents and near misses.
■Surveillance for and alerting of the WTG Package team to any and all real or perceived WTG installation risks.
■Assistance with reviewing and preparing WTG installation-related documentation (letters, reports etc.) relating to claims, variations, management of change etc.
■Maintain and produce an internal to the Project, daily progress report (DPR) & receive and validate the Contractors daily report(s).
■Where required, take a leading role in assessing design, method or equipment changes and advising the WTG Package Team.
■Where required, assessing and auditing Contractor’s documentation – e.g. H&S Plan, QA plan, Environmental plan, as-built drawings and calculations etc.
■Monitoring and recording forecast and actual weather conditions and Contractor weather decisions.
■Monitoring and validating the Contractors compliance with documentation & with the contract.
■Instructing the Contractor to stop the Works for immediate environment, health and safety or product safety reasons.
Coordination and communication with the package team; HSE, QA, and project management representatives attending onboard the installation vessel.
■Promptly identify and notify the Project management on any issue that may arise or have the potential to arise during the course of the works and provide assistance in resolving any issues.
■Coordination and communication with various project stakeholders (including HSE, QA, Environment, Marine Warranty Surveyor and the Principal Contractor) and or other contractors to aide effective interface.

Marine Warranty Surveyor

■ On-site surveillance
■ Condition and suitability surveys for a wide range
of vessels, including barges, construction vessels
and transportation vessels. CMID. OVID
■ Load-out attendance (floating, lifted, skidded or
trailered), including equipment, rigging and
procedural verification
■ Towage surveys, including vessel audits, tow gear
inspections and route planning reviews
■ Transportation surveys, including the verification
of sea fastening completion, tow approvals,
acceptable weather criteria approvals and
personnel reviews
■ Installation attendance, including the verification of
launches, up-end and set down processes, piling,
float-overs, lifting and setting and heavy lifts
